Viagem a Barcelona

A while ago we spent a few days in Barcelona. It is surely one of the most beautiful cities in the world. I had been there before and explored the city with my husband, but this time all 5 of us went.
We had a wonderful time.
We visited th Sagrada família as well as just about everything with Gaudi's signature. I've always had a passion for his architecture so different and so strangely beautiful.
We walked down Passej de Gracia, wih all those marvellous windows to shop from :)
We walked down the Ramblas. We went into La Boqueria and were enchanted by he colours and the smells and the beauty of the arrangements of everything you can think of. Colourfully arranjed heaps of fruit, of eggs, of mushrooms... artistically displayed fishes. Chocolates...oh the temptation... chocolates of all sizes and shapes, made with ingredients as plain as walnuts and as exotic as spices I couldn't even pronounce. A festival for all five senses!

On the final lap of the trip, just a few hours from the flight home, we were all exausted. But even so we had t make the most of it. We went to the Oceanarium. It isn't much different from the one we have in Lisbon an which we know by heart, but it was cool inside, and it was another adventure for the girls, especially the little one who loves anything alive...

Just past the entrance, as in just about every tourist location, a fotographer was takinh pictures for recuerdos. we took one, and thank God we did... it´s the only foto of the 5 of us in Barcelona!

I made this layout with it to include in the family album to remember. I may have been the last trip we took all together. The girls are growing so fast!!!

Once again I used papers from graphic 45 (you can tell I'm a fan) but this time from the "By the sea" collection, and I followed some of the teachings of Shimelle Laine at the event Chocolate Quente XL 2015 which took place two days ago in Gaia.
